BORBA GmbH is consistently investing in the company’s long-term viability. As part of the project „Digital Transformation and Interconnection of Business Processes for the Smart Factory“, existing workflows are being further digitised and key business processes are being more closely interconnected. In this way, we are laying the foundations for more efficient, transparent and increasingly digitally controlled production.
The focus is on optimising our ERP processes and introducing a digital production data collection system and a document management system. This should make information and process data available more quickly, reduce media breaks and further improve workflows between administration and production. At the same time, it will create a seamless digital foundation for future automation and networking initiatives on the path to the Smart Factory.
The project is funded by the European Union under the 2021–2027 State Economic Programme, using funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This funding supports the ongoing digitalisation and sustainable strengthening of our company’s competitiveness.
